cultivated silkTracing the silk roots very far back in history, there are two main types of silk are cultivated silk and wild silk. Cultivated silk is finer; smoother; rounder; more uniform in size and shape and color, and has longer thread filaments than wild silk. It was also used to be most expensive but now can be within your budget. duvet covers silk made from cultivated silk will cost you’re the most money but will also be the most durable, definitely the highest cost effective. Cultivated silk is referred to as mulberry silk.
