I’ve ordered silk pillowcases from three different stores, and this one is the best I’ve found, especially for the money. I’ve ordered cheaper ones, but they fall apart quickly. These ones last quite a while. I would like them even more if they buttoned up, but they’re large enough that they don’t tend to slip off like the others that do have buttons. I have used my silk pillowcase for 1 week now and I like it. the queen size is just the right size for a standard pillow. I have not noticed much of a difference between cotton and silk regarding my hair. It is still new but I can say I like way it feels – luxurious. I would recommend you give it a try. Four years ago I developed breast cancer and lost my hair due to the chemo. A lady at the wig shop I visited suggested that I begin sleeping on silk pillowcases because the silk was softer on the new hair growing in and would lessen the “rub off” effect some cotton pillowcases seem to do. I have to say that after sleeping for four years on silk pillowcases I would not want anything else. my hair grew in quickly and I do not wake up to stray hairs on the pillow or in the bed. My hair is shiny and healthy and the silk does not wreck a hairdo. Basically I can get up and comb my hair out and it will return to the day before’ style with no trouble. And there are less tangles. Also I do not have pillow creases on my face each morning. I would recommend these to everyone and especially ladies who battle hair loss due to chemo, the silk is softer and does not create the friction that cotton pillowcases often do. It seems a good fit for a standard pillow. In the past some silk pillowcases that I have had have been eaten up by traditional cleaners. For this reason, make sure the soap really is silk friendly. These are just like they sound...silk pillowcases. Soft and, well, silky!
I've used them for years and then they became really hard to find for some reason. Just since I bought these from ELLESILK the scarring on the left side of my face has become less noticeable again. They feel so good too.
If you are hot, just turn your pillow over and it's nice and cool. If you have really sensitive skin, these will cut down on the amount of moisture that is stripped from your skin by cotton or fleece cases.
These are not like regular cases either. They are like slipcovers for throw pillows rather than slip on like regular cases! No more pillows sliding out the case in the middle of the night or, worse, your hand getting caught inside and giving you nightmares. (a personal experience..lol)

I had read an article about the benefits of sleeping on a silk pillow to ensure waking up with a crease free face!! As I have recently started to notice similar problems I thought it would be worth a try. Best thing I have ever done, it works a treat, I was away this weekend (without pillowcase) and woke yesterday to wrinkled face! I would recommend it to all, thinking of adopting complete bedding and nightwear in silk for totally crease free body! :) (Posted on 12/23/10)

It was said that the pure silk pillowcase would be benefit to the sleep and hair luster, but the most ecstatic way I felt is my pillowcase makes me look charming than before although a mom of a 24-year-old chubby girl. I'm glad i made this selection, they look so nice in my bedroom. Thanks again Moe for your help.
