I purchased this for myself and I am very pleased with my purchase. The softness is beyond description! I feel like a queen. It is very well made. I’ve looked carefully at the stitching and the quality of this duvet is exceptional. If you are debating whether or not to try this, I don’t think you will be sorry. I know glad I have it! This is a wonderful comfort. There is something magical about this Duvet because it adapts to your body temperature. It feels luxurious and light, which is important to me. I have bought several very high priced Duvets, which have all proved to be too warm for the south, even the blanket weights! I recently purchased a twin duvet with ELLESILK. Ever since, I’ve had a full – rested sleep every night! Its lightweight nature allows me to sleep comfortably. We recently purchase a duvet! As you had promised, we are delighted. The duvet is attractive and lightweight! It conforms to our bodies and gives just the right amount of warmth needed. My allergic reaction to dust mites while in bed has been alleviated. I was very pleased to replace our old duvets and possibly the whole in the future. (we had tired hypoallergenic fibre-fill as well as down covered with an allergy barrier encasement.)

I live right outside of Chicago where temperatures can range from super high to super low and we keep our silk duvet on year round. This one keeps your body comfortable at all times and at all temperatures. My husband is always freezing and I like to be cooler at night but we are BOTH comfortable under this comforter. I love my silk duvet and I wouldn’t use anything else. I bought one of these a year ago in Dublin and went back to get another for my daughter and couldn’t get it. I turned to the internet, found Elle Silk and from here ordered one online. These are by far the most luxurious and comfortable duvets I have ever encountered. I have always found other duvets too heavy or too lumpy. The silk duvets don’t lose their shape, keep you at the right temperature, not too hot in summer and not too cool in winter, and I’ve never slept better since getting mine. I love this quilt, and purchased the king size for my queen bed. It fits perfectly as my expectations. I have washed it before use, I know it will shorten the sheet life, but I used to do this before anything in use. I am gladly that there was no fading, never shrink.
