This is a good question. Many suppliers do not show prices. You need to ask them first. This takes time and is not very clear.
At ELLESILK, we do things differently. We show all prices on our website. You can choose the size and options. You can see the price right away. You will also see discounts if you order more.

Are different sizes priced differently?
Yes. Bigger scarves cost more. They need more silk, more printing, and more work.
On our custom silk scarves ordering page, you can select a size. You will see the price for that size. You do not need to ask us first.
Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?
Yes. If you buy more, the price per scarf goes down.
Each product page shows clear discounts for bulk orders. You can see the price for 10, 50, or 500 scarves.
Bulk discounts are good for businesses, brands, or gift orders.
Why does double-sided printing cost more?
We do offer double-sided printing. Many customers like this option. It makes the scarf look nice on both sides.
This process takes more work:
- We print both sides
- The sides must match
- We need to steam and wash the scarf more times
- It takes more time and more care
Because of this, double-sided scarves cost a bit more. You can choose this option on the product page and see the price.
Why are samples more expensive per unit?
Many customers order a custom silk scarf sample first. This helps them check the quality.
They notice that one sample costs more per piece than a large order. This is normal. Here is why.
We follow the same full process for one sample:
- Cutting
- Sizing
- Printing
- Steaming
- Washing
- Hand-rolled hemming
- Packaging
- Shipping
Even for one piece, we set up the machines and do all the work. The cost is higher because the work is the same, but it is for only one scarf.
In large orders, this cost spreads across many pieces. So the price per piece is lower in bulk.
