Although so many benefits to silk filled comforters, these are not the first concern of the consumer. The one draw back to silk is of course the price. Some people will find it difficult to fork out that kind of cash, and purchase cotton sheet with a higher thread count to improve the comfort of their bed. While that may seem an excellent compromise, those sheets do not come anywhere near the silk quilts and still have the same drawbacks. Another drawback is the fact that silk is way more durable, so in the end you may be saving some cash by going with silk.
